Sunday, August 13, 2006 ::: IT'S A BIT LIKE FARTING BUT THROUGH THE OTHER SIDE Shek O Weather was sublime. Beach was good. A balance mix of people around. Girls were wearing bikinis, which was all good. Talk about progress. Or you can call that globalization. But I don't really care. The only annoying thing is the occasional plastic bag/popsicle wrapping that brushes through your shoulders in the sea. But that wasn't too bad. Afterall that's quite expected and I was only dreading the encounter of 'other things'. Fortunately the worst were only plastic wrappings. There were fish swimming around the floating platform. I guess that can only be a good sign that signals that the water isn't too bad - there are actually species still thriving in Hong Kong's infamous sea water! Should do it again folks! Tribeca When was the last time I went clubbing? It's so typical HK club. Hip Hop/RnB all night. Boring. The closest thing to pop was Nelly Furtado's Maneater and Promiscuous. And also Justin's latest SexyBack. You bet I was having a good time dancing to Maneater. Too bad during Promiscuous I was hunting for the gents washroom + fighting the crowd to get to the door. And I listened to the first half of SexyBack in the cubicle. How ironic. The best tracks while I was at the loo. Hollaback Girl is so last century though. But open bar was great. If only I had a better adjusted LES (low esophageal sphincter), I definitely could use more than the 5-6 drinks. By the time I got my last drink, which happened to be the best mixed drink of the night because of the 2/3 booze and 1/3 coke, I had to puke - not solid/liquid, but air. Yes, literally, I puked 'air'. Or gas. Whatever you wanna call it. That's too much details for you already, I know. By the way, I can confirm that discopop is officially dead. :( There are a lot of music I'd love to share with you but I'm a bit exhausted now. Perhaps some other time.
